Recreation Opportunities 

The following outdoor activities are available to all groups on a first come-first served basis.  Equipment may be checked out at the desk in the Administration Building.

The pool and canoes are available from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend at the scheduled times - 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.  WOCC will have trained life guards for these activities. The canoes may be scheduled through the end of October if weather permits and staffing is available. Additional scheduling can be made by contacting the Office Services team at White Oak Conference Center. Any additional scheduling will be charged at the hourly rate.

Bonfires may be scheduled any day of the week between the hours of 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm unless prohibited by weather. You may choose to have it at the picnic shelter or the point by the lake. This should be scheduled at least one week prior to your arrival.  

A lakefront beach with large floating inflatables is also available seasonally during scheduled times - 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. 

Please note:  If activities are planned utilizing the pool, the canoes, or the lakefront beach during the scheduled times, no additional fees for usage will be charged.  However, if activities are planned outside the scheduled times, additional fees will be charged.  Contact White Oak Conference Center for information about additional fees and to arrange for usage of these facilities and equipment outside the normal schedule.

New Recreation Pavilion

During one of the severe thunderstorms during the spring of 2011, the rec pavilion was destroyed.  A new pavilion was constructed and is ready for use.
